FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Is the food I receive raw?
1
No. We thoroughly prepare and cook everything we send as soon as we receive your order. Items are then cooled and then deep frozen and vacuum sealed to preserve freshness.
WHERE IS MY FOOD MADE?
2
All Righteous Kitchen meals are completely prepared by hand in our large commissary kitchen in Lombard, IL (which is about 19 miles directly west of the Chicago Loop)
DO YOU SHIP ANYWHERE and when do you ship?
3
Right now we ship anywhere in the 48 contiguous states via UPS 2-day air. We ONLY ship out on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays so we can guarantee freshness. Your order will ship within 5-6 days from the time it was received.
How long can I keep my Righteous Kitchen meals in the freezer?
4
You can keep meals in the freezer up to 6 months. But we don’t know anyone who’s been able to resist for that long!
Do I have to thaw my items before heating?
5
What if my meals aren’t hot enough after I’ve followed the label instructions?
6
Is the packaging recyclable?
7
Does Righteous Kitchen food make a good gift?
8
No, you can heat your items up directly from frozen. However, we do recommend thawing in the refrigerator over night ahead of time if possible. (This makes reheating time much faster.)
All ovens vary. The heating time on the label is what we have found to be accurate in our ovens. Yours may require a little more or a little less time to get hot. REMEMBER: Everything is already fully cooked, you’re just warming it up.
